  I regret putting my mother into bluebell nursing home, we visited the home first and it didn't seem too bad but in hindsight it was all a pretence. My mother had dementia and was in hospital following a fall so the manager of bluebell showed us the single room my mother was to have which was nice but when my mother arrived at the home they put her into a shared room with another lady who had dementia far worse than my mother which made my mother a lot worse. Every week I asked about her own room which was promised and I was told the next available one would be hers, you would see relatives of other people being shown around and they would have the next spare room this went on for months even when my mother was dying she was still in a shared room she didn't have the dignity of passing on in her own room which I was disgusted at. The food was not good either sometimes when visiting she had no lunch or tea and when I asked about it I was told they forgot about her. The manager is a very good salesman don't believe a word he says, to him it's just bums on beds that was his words describing other nursing homes, but Bluebell is the worse. I honestly think my mother would be here today if she had not gone to bluebell home.
